I grew up in New Delhi in a beautiful, open home whose rooms surrounded a veranda that served as our family’s central hangout. My time there is eternally stamped in my memories by seemingly endless socializing, meals, festivals, and holidays on that veranda—we never locked our doors, and friends came and went. Where people come from so often informs where we go, and I didn’t understand my fascination with my current airy, tree-lined home in San Francisco until I returned to New Delhi.
Now I’m a realtor here in SF, and I always know how to get my buyers and sellers what they want because I ask them one question before anything else:
What rooms have you loved in your life, and why?
I’ve become one of the top SF realtors through three ways:
I believe in research, and I do my own. My background in tech has made me organized and efficient, and I know that the more info you have on hand, the less intimidating the housing market is-whether you’re buying or selling. People who have found the experience to be confusing at best or nightmarish at worst feel that way because they didn’t have all the data. The data is out there, but while many agents put the onus on their clients to undertake certain key research themselves, I personally don’t believe you should have to. Real estate is a team project and I’m your team leader, so you can depend on me.
TRANSPARENT WORK ETHIC
Transparency can make or break transactions and relationships alike, so I make sure you’re with me every step of the way. I talk to contractors and inspectors, I research permits, and I pull information on behalf of even the other agent. I share it all with you with links to my sources because you deserve to have all the information you could possibly need to make a carefully considered decision before we move forward, and time is of the essence. Relationships are paramount to success in real estate, so I’m honest to a fault, I work relentlessly, and I don’t just listen to you, I hear you. I fight for you like you’re my family.
Can you walk away from an offer that is unacceptable to you? Because I can. I’m a Stanford-trained negotiator who maintains a calm and unyielding front while we break molds and set market trends by refusing to settle, so that you can get what you want. I learned a long time ago you don’t know what you can get until you ask, and I’m not afraid to ask for anything. I guarantee you no one commission check will make or break my career, so don’t ever worry about me pushing you into accepting an offer as a seller, or making one as a buyer; this process is about you, and getting the outcome you want, your way.
I’m a top 3% agent with more than $120M in sales.
