With the recent supreme court ruling on gay marriage, the real estate market will surely be impacted. There are over 120,000 people belonging to the LGBT demographic in SF alone, and it’s inevitable that many in this community either are or eventually will become homeowners together. Getting a mortgage or buying a home isn’t an issue, it’s what happens if a partner dies or they break up.
